Bass and Moorehead promoted within West Star
Both drawing on aviation experience within US military backgrounds, Randy Bass and Tony Moorehead are moving up at West Star into managerial positions in Texas and Missouri.

US MRO West Star Aviation has promoted Randall (Randy) Bass to satellite manager of its Conroe-North Houston Regional airport facility in Texas and Tony Moorehead to quality manager of its Perryville Regional airport facility in Missouri.

Randy has worked at West Star for five years and has over 48 years of aviation experience at a variety of levels. He is a US Navy veteran and licensed pilot.

“Randy has a fantastic work ethic and has proven to the industry that the Conroe facility can provide a variety of maintenance services,” says director, satellites, MRT and engines Sharon Klose.

“I appreciate the opportunity to continue my career with the West Star team here at the Conroe location while providing our customers with unparalleled personalised service,” adds Bass.

Tony has over 35 years of aviation experience, starting with the US Marine Corps as well as serving in the Illinois Air National Guard as an F16 crew chief. He started at West Star in 2016 as a quality assurance inspector and has been at the Perryville location since 2018.

“Tony's vast experience will benefit the West Star team while providing an elevated level of expertise to our valued customers,” says director of quality assurance Darren Nash.

“I'm looking forward to continuing my career with West Star and appreciate the opportunity to work with the experienced team at Perryville,” adds Moorehead.
