Conklin & de Decker embarks on new chapter under Caporali
David Caporali will spearhead the development efforts for the next generation of the Conklin platform, launching in 2025, overseeing new product offerings and enhancements that will elevate the user experience.

Jet Support Services, Inc (JSSI), an independent provider of maintenance support and financial services, has appointed David Caporali as senior vice president of Conklin & de Decker and strategy. In his new role, Caporali will spearhead the development efforts for the next generation of the Conklin platform, launching in 2025.

Prior to joining JSSI in 2021, Caporali held a wide variety of roles in the industry, leading aircraft sales and maintenance functions for key industry players and OEMs. He previously served as director of aircraft sales at Viking Air and as general sales manager at Lider Aviação, where he specialised in the distribution of Hawker Beechcraft products in Brazil and North America.

“I could not be more excited for the opportunity and challenge to lead Conklin into its next phase,” says Caporali. “I have been a core user of Conklin & de Decker for many years, and I understand what this product represents in the market. Our goal is to build on this strong foundation; we have a powerful vision for the future of the platform and plans to unveil new product offerings and enhancements that will elevate the user experience, all under the banner of one of the most trusted brands in our industry.”

Conklin & de Decker joined the JSSI portfolio of services in 2018 as the two organisations aligned on a vision to increase cost transparency and objective benchmarking tools for aircraft buyers. The latest software platform continues to be a trusted resource for thousands of users globally, including charter operators, management companies, brokers, corporate flight departments and end-users.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, Conklin & de Decker is embarking on a new chapter under Caporali’s leadership; his deep knowledge of the business aviation ecosystem and experience with the aircraft transaction process means he fully understands what information decision makers need and expect.

“For 40 years, Conklin & de Decker has been the go-to source for objective operating cost data. Now, we take the next step in our evolution. I’m excited to see David take on this new role as we launch the Conklin & de Decker of the future, investing in our software and modernising our methodology,” says CEO Neil Book.
