SwitzerlandAll nine of ExecuJet’s FBOs in Spain have successfully achieved the IS-BAH Stage II accreditation. These FBOs have recently joined the group from Sky Valet and will be integrated into the ExecuJet FBO brand in 2025.
The IS-BAH certificate is issued by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and is a globally recognised safety standard specifically for FBOs. The achievement of Stage II accreditation highlights ExecuJet's rigorous implementation of standards that focus on risk management, safety culture and the ongoing development of operational best practices.
The nine accredited FBOs, located in Spain's most prominent business aviation hubs, include Malaga Costa del Sol, Barcelona-El Prat, Girona Costa Brava, Ibiza, A Coruña, Madrid Barajas, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela and Valencia. The Stage II accreditation will be valid until summer 2026.
Patrick Hansen, CEO of parent company Luxaviation Group, says: “We are delighted with this recognition, which reaffirms our commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence across our global FBO network. Achieving IS-BAH Stage II accreditation in Spain marks a key milestone in integrating these locations into the ExecuJet network and advancing our leadership in the FBO industry.”
Michel Tohane, president of group FBO services at Luxaviation, adds: “These certifications are a crucial step in aligning our growth and safety goals. The newly accredited Spanish FBOs reflect our team’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards and pave the way for a seamless integration into the ExecuJet network.”
The IS-BAH accreditation is awarded to FBOs that demonstrate a robust SMS and a continuous improvement approach in their operations. The process involves a comprehensive audit of an FBO's operations, safety protocols and staff training programmes.
