ExecuJet reinforces network in Europe with Maltese FBO
Malta is a prime location for technical stops and business aviation services. ExecuJet is strengthening its presence there through a collaboration with existing Malta International airport FBO Executive Aviation Malta.
The Malta FBO, established in 2011, is a full-service facility with two lounges, a flight planning room, a full-service concierge, shower room, crew transport vehicles and a range of passenger and crew amenities.

ExecuJet is expanding its FBO network with the opening of an FBO at Malta International airport to provide ground handling services. This new facility, established through a strategic cooperation with Executive Aviation Malta, significantly enhances ExecuJet's presence in the Mediterranean region.

Malta's unique position within Europe, just a 30 minute flight from north Africa, combined with its attractive business environment and investment incentives, makes it an appealing destination for both business and leisure travellers. With its growing aviation registry, investment opportunities and superyacht facilities, Malta has become a hub for HNWIs, the financial sector and global corporate setups in recent years.

Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group, says: “The addition of Executive Aviation Malta to our FBO portfolio underscores our commitment to providing seamless and outstanding services in key locations worldwide. Malta's unique position within Europe and its proximity to north Africa enhances our clients' operational flexibility, making it a prime location for technical stops and business aviation services. We are committed to strengthening our presence in this significant region.”

The Malta FBO, established in 2011, is a full-service facility that features two fully equipped lounges, a flight planning room, a full-service concierge, a shower room, crew transport vehicles and a range of passenger and crew amenities. Designed to facilitate smooth operations for private travellers and corporate jet operators, the FBO offers into-plane fuelling, customs support and a meet and assist programme that ensures expedited handling through all airport formalities.

Andrea Estrafallaces, FBO network development executive, group FBO services, Luxaviation Group, comments: “This strategic cooperation with Executive Aviation not only strengthens our footprint in the Mediterranean but also brings together our expertise with local knowledge to deliver a first-class service offering. By cooperating with Executive Aviation, we are combining our global reach with its powerful reputation for delivering premier services and operational excellence, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standards of service.”

Andrea Trapani, CEO of Executive Aviation Malta, adds: “The signing of a strategic cooperation with a global partner such as ExecuJet is testament to our achievements and level of service along the years. I believe that such a cooperation will further open up doors for us and will contribute to future growth for the ExecuJet brand and our FBO in Malta.”

As Malta continues to attract HNWIs and businesses from industries such as yachting, gaming and finance, this FBO strategic cooperation is poised to meet the increasing demand for high-end aviation services. Looking ahead, ExecuJet and Executive Aviation Malta intend to invest in facility upgrades and expand the vehicle fleet.
