Alto adds soundbar to cabin audio system
The soundbar can fit under monitor screens and includes three TSO-certified Alto ASP-250 loudspeakers, one Alto amplifier offering flexibility with AC or DC systems and a number of Alto subwoofers.
The Soundbar integrates with Alto's existing cabin audio solution and is designed for medium-sized, large and VVIP business aircraft.

Alto Aviation has expanded its components portfolio with a cabin audio solution supported by a new Alto Soundbar, designed and engineered in-house to provide an integrated system specific to medium-sized, large and VVIP business aircraft. Currently available in two sizes, 31 inches and 40 inches, the Alto Soundbar can fit under monitor screens or be installed as required by each cabin specification.

The soundbar includes three TSO-certified top-of-the-line Alto ASP-250 loudspeakers, one Alto amplifier offering flexibility with AC or DC systems and a number of Alto subwoofers, depending on customisation and specifications for each aircraft. Two subwoofers provide a fully immersive listening experience, maximising sound quality while minimising distortion, as well as outstanding output, efficiency and sensitivity. Enclosures can be customised with different colours and textures to match every cabin interior concept.

The soundbar is suitable for all configurations of Alto cabin audio systems, both for OEMs and aftermarket installations, with several field-proven aftermarket installations on privately owned and operated aircraft, as well as large fleet/charter aircraft in leading platforms, including BBJ 757, Bombardier Global Express, Embraer Lineage 1000E and Gulfstream types.

"We are very excited about the positive feedback," says vice president of sales and marketing Kevin Hayes. "Our authorised installers' continued support and trust in our offering means everything to us. Knowing that we add value to their aircraft inspires us to continue providing new passenger-centric listening experiences, developing audio products and solutions designed with simplicity and unrivalled performance in mind."
