Updated Honeywell Forge is full of features
Network monitoring capabilities are incorporated in Honeywell Forge so that users can now stay better informed of vulnerabilities within their cabin connectivity service. There are three plans to choose from.
The most premium Elite Experience plan is built for users wanting the highest connectivity experience with robust high-speed access for premium video and apps.

Honeywell has updated features in its Forge platform for business aviation flight departments. Improved services include: enhanced network monitoring to help keep users informed of network threats and vulnerabilities with their cabin connectivity service; more individual and user-centric features, beyond aircraft-based services; for the first time, Honeywell Forge customers have access to their performance-based communications services with performance-based communication and surveillance; three new Honeywell Forge Experience plans have been introduced (Elite, Comfort and Office).

Network monitoring capabilities are incorporated in Forge so that users can now stay better informed of vulnerabilities within their cabin connectivity service. The service is visualised on the Honeywell Forge dashboard via the network monitoring tile and enabled by installing the GoDirect Router software package on an equipped aircraft.

The PBCS monitoring feature inside Honeywell Forge helps operators recognise when they have exceeded maximum allowed timing while using FANS data link. It provides PBCS monitoring data after each flight so an operator can deal proactively with any issues and retain the ability to fly the FANS-reduced separated tracks.

Additional individual and user-based features inside the platform provide users with the ability to control their own accounts and stay better informed, while administrators can better manage users and the access to accounts. Custom dashboards and configurations allow users to decide how they want to manage their information and features.

Experience plans for cabin connectivity are another offering in Honeywell Forge and come in three packages. The most premium Elite Experience plan is built for users wanting the highest connectivity experience with robust high-speed access for premium video and apps. The Comfort Experience plan is designed for customers wanting an at-home experience on an aircraft like a home-streaming video experience on all devices. The Office Experience plan provides connectivity at lower throughput needs for business collaboration tools, email and teleconference video.

“Honeywell Forge offers leading connectivity services, and these features provide customers with our latest and most advanced monitoring, management, connectivity and security capabilities,” says John Peterson, VP and general manager, software and services at Honeywell Connected Enterprise, Aerospace. “These services represent our latest and continuing investment in Honeywell Forge as a seamless experience to meet our customers' needs in running their operations safely and efficiently.”
