Metrojet proves once more that it is a safety stickler
Established in 1997, Metrojet was one of the first business aviation companies to come on the scene in the Hong Kong region. It has gradually achieved each level of IS-BAO recognition and renewed Stage III last year.
Gary Dolski and Eddy Lee celebrate 10 years of IS-BAO.

Hong Kong-based business jet operator Metrojet has become the first and only local operator recognised by IBAC for its ten-year support and participation if the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).

Metrojet received its Stage I IS-BAO certificate in 2011 and Stage II in 2014. It further affirmed its safety efforts by achieving the first Stage III IS-BAO certificate in 2016 and a subsequent three-year renewal in 2019.

IS-BAO contains three stages of certification of which Stage III is the highest registration certificate issued by IBAC. The successful completion of the audit verifies that the safety management activities are fully integrated into an operator's business and that a positive safety culture is fully integrated and supported in the daily operations.

Metrojet CEO Gary Dolski states: “We are extremely grateful and proud to have received this high-level recognition from IBAC together with other internationally renowned organisations, including NASA.”

Eddy Lee, Metrojet's head of corporate safety and quality, adds: “We would like to thank all of our employees for adhering to the company's safety standards and procedures, and believe their efforts can assist in raising the industry safety bar higher in the Asia region where we are based and operate.”
