London's Dominvs Aviation has expanded its private charter division with the appointment of Melanie Blackman as head of charter services. Blackman will manage the day to day charter sales and operation, for both the Dominvs owned and managed fleet of aircraft, as well as the brokerage of operating partner jets and helicopters.
Bringing with her a wealth of experience within the business aviation industry, including leading her own air charter brokerage Azzura Charters for the past seven years, Blackman's business has been incorporated into Dominvs Aviation as part of a merging agreement.
Dominvs Aviation is a provider of comprehensive business aviation services, including aircraft trading in sales and acquisition for company held inventory and that of its clients. Other services include aircraft asset management, aircraft chartering and operational management. The company operates as part of the well-established Dominvs Group, the highly successful property and hospitality business, which manages real estate to the value of over one billion pounds.
CEO Chris Mace says: "We are thrilled to welcome Melanie into the Dominvs family. Air charter requires detailed knowledge and experience to ensure that the exacting requirements of our clients expectations are fulfilled. Melanie brings this, and it's a delight to work with someone we respect and have a long history of working alongside.”
Blackman adds: “This brings together a great synergy of strength and experience of two great aviation companies. It is wonderful to be part of a like-minded team that is both passionate about aviation and exceeding client expectations. I am very much looking forward to working with both existing and new clients on their travel requirements.”
Dominvs Aviation was formed in 2019 by Chris Mace, former founder of air charter operator SaxonAir and the Dominvs Group chairman, Sukhpal Ahluwalia. Before Dominvs, Ahluwalia grew his first enterprise, Euro Car Parts, into the largest distributor of car parts in Europe.
