Why visit ACE ’25?
The Air Charter Association (The ACA) hosted its inaugural regional roundtable event on 10 September, 2024 at Centennial airport in Denver, Colorado. It was hosted by The ACA’s international board member Ryan Waguespack and Mayo Aviation, and was open to all US air charter professionals. The association has seen great success with its previous European forums, providing a platform for constructive debate on key issues affecting our industry, and is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of the same opportunities to members across the US and worldwide.
The agenda covered a range of high-level topics starting with air charter industry market trends, the regulatory landscape, illegal charter, cyber security, rising costs and workforce challenges. The need for a clear industry standard to be applied throughout the air charter brokering industry was a key point of discussion, with The ACA a long-time advocate.
As part of its commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards, The ACA ensures all new member applications go through an accreditation process certifying that they are experienced and trustworthy professionals. In addition, it has developed the Air Charter Broker Qualification which covers all the key knowledge and understanding needed by a competent and professional air charter broker. The ACA has also recently launched an online broker training course for its Level 1 standard to ensure access and value to air charter professionals across the globe.
Alongside its accreditation and the confidence this brings companies in trading with association members and training opportunities, The ACA delivers value to US member companies by providing access to a global industry network of air charter professionals, with regular industry events and networking opportunities. The ACA is planning further regional roundtable events in the US over the coming months as it continues to expand its global presence.
Waguespack says: “Having joined the international board in 2024, it was a pleasure to be able to host the first in-person US roundtable event and facilitate greater discussion on crucial issues facing the industry. I look forward to attending further events as The ACA continues to expand engagement across the US air charter industry.”
