Swift gains Stage II safety certification
In a company where every team member contributes to the success and improvement of its SMS, Swift's IS-BAO Stage II certification reflects the team's unrelenting focus on safety.

Swift Aircraft Management (SAM), a private charter operator and aircraft management company based in Phoenix, Arizona has gained IS-BAO Stage II certification.

Director of safety Tony Jobusch comments: “It's a big deal to be recommended for the IS-BAO Stage II, and SAM did it. Our leadership and employees continually promote an environment where every team member contributes to the success and improvement of our safety management system.”

“This latest achievement is the result of our unrelenting focus on safety and reiterates the safety commitment Swift Aircraft Management has toward its charter customers, top celebrities and VIP clients, yours and ours,” adds charter sales manager Bonny Phillips.

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, is a recommended code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve high levels of safety and professionalism. IS-BAO is an industry standard built for operators, by operators that provides standards based on the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS). Both the FAA and CAA in Canada recognise IS-BAO as meeting the ICAO standard. The European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) also recognises IS-BAO as an industry standard for business aircraft operations.

Swift Aircraft Management is also an ARGUS Platinum rated and Wyvern registered operator.
