Dumont signs up for Hawker engine overhauls
Dumont and StandardAero have a healthy long-term relationship, and with Dumont's Hawker 400XP soon to enter service, the operator knew who to trust with the overhaul of the jet's Pratt & Whitney powerplants.

Dumont Group, a Part 135 management and charter provider headquartered in New Castle, Denver, US, has extended its relationship with StandardAero by signing a contract to overhaul the Pratt & Whitney JT15D-5R engines that power one of its Hawker 400XP light jets. The aircraft is shortly set to enter service.

Dumont has already worked with StandardAero on a variety of overhaul, repair, preservation and teardown services on the P&WC JT15D and PW100 engine families.

“It is our great privilege to extend our long-running relationship with the Dumont Group through this latest contract,” says StandardAero's executive VP of sales and marketing Jason Johnson. "We will continue to demonstrate excellence in turn-time, economical solutions, and best-in-class customer service for the JT15D and additional powerplants."

StandardAero supports the global JT15D operator community from its designated overhaul facility located in Summerside, PE, Canada, backed by service centre locations in Grapevine, TX, US; Kennesaw, GA, US; Latrobe, PA, USA; and Bournemouth, UK. Its JT15D service offerings include the VMAX pay-per-hour support programme, which is designed to deliver peace of mind through a predictable, 'no surprises' engine maintenance expense guarantee.
