EAG signs Qatar agreement as it builds regional network
Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (EAG) is expanding its regional network. Fahd Travels has become EAG's representative sales agent (RSA) for Qatar and will market private jet charter services.

Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (EAG) is expanding its regional network. Fahd Travels has become EAG's representative sales agent (RSA) for Qatar and will market private jet charter services.

Paras Dhamecha, EAG executive director, says: "The agreement with Fahd Travels is the second RSA agreement we have signed - the first was with Luxury Travel by Dnata in 2008 - and marks our first step towards creating a new regional business presence for the company across the Middle East and beyond. We are actively looking to extend this network within the Gulf Cooperation Council countries before the end of 2008. Qatar is an increasingly important market for private aviation services including executive jet charter."

Fahd Al-Darwish, md of Fahd Travels, says: "We believe this new working relationship will help develop the local and regional market for private jet charter services for which there is increasing demand in Qatar." He adds: "We are very confident that we can service and grow the local client base."

EAG manages seven aircraft, six of which are available for charter, and expects the fleet to grow to ten by the end of 2008.
