Textron Aviation's Mesa service centre is celebrating 15 years of service to Cessna, Beechcraft and Hawker customers in Arizona and beyond. Located at Phoenix Gateway Airport, the centre provides a full range of services including maintenance, modifications and interior upgrades for the southwestern region.

“We are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished in Mesa,” says Michael Merlie, general manager, Textron Aviation Mesa service centre. “Customers can rely on excellent and timely services and expert maintenance and modification work from our team at the Mesa service centre, and we look forward to supporting them for years to come.”

The 65,000 square-foot facility was established 15 years ago when employees from various Textron Aviation service locations in the United States united to create the Mesa service centre. Over 65 percent of the original workforce relocated from the former Cessna Long Beach service centre in California. The Mesa service centre supports five mobile service unit locations and serves southern California, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.

Mesa remains a hub for general and business aviation, with multiple A&P schools and flight schools nearby. Many original equipment manufacturers including Textron Aviation operate strategically in the area due to its ideal conditions and sunny climate.

Textron Aviation maintains a strong customer support system across North America, operating 11 domestic service centres and over 30 domestic mobile service units. Expert service engineers provide maintenance, inspections, parts, repairs, avionic upgrades and refurbishments along with other specialised services.
