VermontThe General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has confirmed its leadership team for 2025, with a mix of returning and new members in key roles. The new Executive Committee was elected during GAMA's autumn board meeting.
Henry Brooks, president of power and controls at Collins Aerospace, has taken on the role of chair after previously serving as vice chair and chair of the Security Issues Committee.
Ron Draper, president and CEO of Textron Aviation, has been selected as vice chair, moving from his prior position as chair of the Flight Operations Policy Committee. Chuck Wiplinger, president and CEO of Wipaire, continues as immediate past chair, having been the 2024 chair and previously chairing multiple committees.
Tony Brancato of StandardAero remains chair of the Airworthiness and Maintenance Policy Committee, while JJ Frigge from Hartzell Propeller will begin his first term as chair of the Communications Committee, promoting the general aviation industry's benefits.
Kyle Clark of Beta Technologies and Oliver Reinhardt from Volocopter will co-chair the Electric Propulsion and Innovation Committee, with Reinhardt extending his current term. Frank Moesta of Rolls-Royce continues to lead the Environment Committee, addressing critical aviation environmental issues worldwide.
Carlos Brana from Dassault Aviation retains his position as chair of the European Leaders Steering Committee, advocating for general aviation interests in Europe. Bob Buddecke of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies takes on the role of chair for the Flight Operations Policy Committee, while John Calcagno of Piper Aircraft extends his term leading the Policy and Legal Issues Committee.
Charlie Gregoire from Redbird Flight continues as chair of the Safety and Accident Investigation Committee. Thierry Betbeze from Dassault Falcon Jet will chair the Security Issues Committee. Allen Paxson of GE Aerospace remains chair of the Technical Policy Committee.
