RAS and LTAA to collaborate on engine support
By integrating LTAA's proven engine expertise, RAS Group further strengthens its ability to offer a seamless, one-stop solution for its clients, particularly for operators of Embraer E-Jets and De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft.

German MRO Rheinland Air Service (RAS) has entered into a strategic collaboration with Lufthansa Technik Aero Alzey (LTAA), which specialises in regional aircraft engines.

This partnership represents a milestone for both companies, as it combines RAS Group's expertise in airframe and systems maintenance with LTAA's capabilities in engine maintenance and support. Under this framework, LTAA will deliver engine maintenance services to RAS and its customers in accordance with EASA Part 145 standards, drawing on decades of experience and the global reputation of the Lufthansa Technik Group.

LTAA is authorised by General Electric and Pratt & Whitney Canada to conduct all repair and overhaul work on the GE CF34-3, CF34-8, CF34-10, PW100 and PW150 engine models as well as the PW1500G and GE Passport. These engines are used on regional and business jets, such as the Embraer 170/175, Embraer 190/195, Bombardier CRJ200, CRJ700, CRJ900 and CRJ1000, ARJ21, Airbus A220, Bombardier Challenger and Global 7500, as well as on turboprop aircraft including the Embraer 120, Fokker 50, Dornier 328, ATR-42, ATR-72, MA60 and de Havilland DHC-8 Q100, Q200, Q300 and Q400.

By integrating LTAA's proven engine expertise, RAS Group further strengthens its ability to offer a seamless, one-stop solution for its clients, particularly for operators of Embraer E-Jets, De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft, but also other business and regional aviation fleets. This partnership not only enhances RAS's technical capabilities but also opens new opportunities to innovate and deliver value-added services for its global customer base.
