Aero-Dienst presses ahead with service improvements
With its main location at the 24/7 airport in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst offers its international customers a high degree of availability and flexibility. It has teamed up with an Indian firm and has received AOG approvals.
The application for a GCAA CAR 145 certificate represented another step forward along the path of the growth strategy that Aero-Dienst has been pursuing for years.

Aero-Dienst is entering a strategic partnership with AeroSource International, an Indian aviation consultancy, in a move that is expected to strengthen service offerings and create value for customers.

This partnership brings together Aero-Dienst's 65 years of expertise in aircraft maintenance, operations and management with AeroSource International's more than 20 years of leadership in aviation consultancy in India. The collaboration aims to provide clients with end-to-end solutions, including maintenance, interiors, paintwork, modification, components etc while meeting the highest global standards.

Through this partnership, Aero-Dienst will extend its technical and maintenance support to Indian corporates, offering access to world-class facilities for aircraft MRO. AeroSource in turn will leverage its deep local knowledge and relationships with India's corporate sector to help Aero-Dienst expand its footprint in one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world.

Aero-Dienst is thrilled to partner with AeroSource International,” says André Ebach, managing director of Aero-Dienst GmbH. “India is a dynamic market with tremendous potential, and AeroSource's proven expertise makes it an ideal partner for our expansion efforts.”

Vinod Singel, MD of AeroSource, adds: “This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies. Combining Aero-Dienst's technical capabilities with AeroSource's market insights will enable us to deliver seamless aviation solutions that exceed client expectations.”

In other news, Aero-Dienst has been certified by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO). This approval clears Aero-Dienst to carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair and refurbishment work on business jets registered in the UAE at its headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany.

The application for a GCAA CAR 145 certificate represented another step forward along the path of the growth strategy that Aero-Dienst has been pursuing for years. Both the number of flight movements and the number of aircraft stationed in the region have been steadily increasing for years. Despite the challenges posed by political tensions in the region, this growth is continuing unabated, so Aero-Dienst anticipates continued high demand for MRO services in the coming years.

The UAE approval enables Aero-Dienst to respond to specific customer requirements on the one hand and on the other to enhance its presence in the regional market.

With its main location at the 24/7 airport in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst offers its international customers a high degree of availability and flexibility. Specialised AOG teams with their outstanding expertise are available for global deployment.

In addition to its headquarters in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst also operates stations at Vienna and Klagenfurt in Austria and a maintenance station near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen that was set up three years ago. Its component shop in Landsberg am Lech allows Aero-Dienst to provide fast and local repairs for maintenance operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Finally, in recent months, Aero-Dienst has optimised its AOG service capacity with the goal of improving performance.

The expansion comprises one team for Bombardier business jets and one for Dassault aircraft. Each of the two AOG specialist teams, which are exclusively responsible for AOG services, is basically made up of two technicians. They operate independently of daily maintenance routines, which means that they can concentrate fully on challenging AOG tasks that require the highest levels of flexibility and mobility. In case of increased demand for services due to simultaneous requests, additional specialist technicians can team up and respond.

“Deploying stand-alone AOG teams represents a win-win situation both for our customers in AOG cases and for planned downtimes in hangars. This gives us a high degree of flexibility and, at the same time, the required stability and long-term planning efficiency in basic maintenance, because there is no need to remove staff for AOG cases on short notice,” explains Florian Heinzelmann, head of maintenance at Aero-Dienst. He adds: “We're very satisfied with this method of organising our AOG services, because it enables us to provide our customers with direct, transparent and efficient support in AOG situations, which we've already demonstrated with about 100 deployments this past year.”
