Jet Support Services, Inc has appointed Sean McGeough to executive vice president for business development in North America as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team.
In his new role, McGeough will focus on expanding JSSI’s reach within the US and Canada. As operators are increasingly gravitating towards an airline-style model with more CFO involvement and stringent cost controls, JSSI’s pioneering maintenance solutions are poised to offer even greater value, flexibility and competitive advantage. In a space often dominated by a few key players, JSSI continues to be a disruptor.
“Joining this team feels like a full-circle moment for me,” says McGeough. “Throughout my career, JSSI has always been synonymous with excellence, identifying and solving for industry support gaps through the ownership cycle, and providing unmatched service to aircraft operators. I’m excited and honoured to join such a diverse and dynamic team: the very best and brightest in the industry.”
McGeough has an impressive track record, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in senior sales and management positions. He most recently served as vice president of commercial for Airbus Corporate Jets, where he oversaw marketing, sales and customer support. Prior to Airbus, he served as EVP of corporate sales for Wheels Up; vice president of sales, North America for Aerion Supersonic; president and CEO for Nextant Aerospace; and president, EMEA and APAC for Hawker Beechcraft.
“Sean and I first met over 20 years ago; ever since, I’ve admired his work ethic, relationship building, deep industry knowledge and overall commitment to success,” says chief revenue officer Francisco Zozaya. “Today, we are privileged to welcome such a respected industry leader to JSSI, and I am personally excited to work closely alongside him and our outstanding sales team to elevate JSSI’s value proposition in North America.”
“For those advising new aircraft buyers, evaluating all maintenance programme options such as JSSI, has become a fiduciary responsibility,” McGeough continues. “These programmes offer financial predictability and serve as an integral extension of the operator’s maintenance team, significantly boosting aircraft availability and reducing downtime. This is why many of the best flight departments in the world, those who demand the highest standards of operational excellence, rely on JSSI.”
McGeough holds an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology, where he sits on the Aeronautics Advisory Board and is an adjunct professor in aviation and sustainability. Additionally, he is an airline transportation pilot (ATP), board member of GAMA, and an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation.
