Executive Gachon to enhance business lines of Alpes
Nicolas Gachon has hands-on experience in aviation operations, having worked with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) in the Indian Ocean region. Additionally, he is a licensed private pilot. He has joined Alpes.
Gachon's passion for aviation will be a great asset.

Alpes Helicopteres, a French rotary operator and part of Leman Aviation, has added Nicolas Gachon to its team. Gachon is taking on dual roles, reinforcing both operations and business development, particularly the company's helicopter co-ownership programme.

Gachon brings a combination of legal, financial and operational expertise to Alpes Helicopteres. With a strong academic background, including an MBA in Management from Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and a Master's in Air Transport Law and Management from IFURTA, he is developing a solid foundation in aviation. His previous roles include working as a legal intern at Mazoyer Guijarro Avocats in Paris, specialising in aviation law, and gaining experience in structured finance and project management at Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC).

He also has hands-on experience in aviation operations, having worked with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) in the Indian Ocean region. Additionally, he is a licensed private pilot.

In his new role, Gachon will divide his time between operations management, where he will support the existing team in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and business development, focusing on expanding Alpes Helicopteres' co-ownership programme. His expertise in finance, legal structures and aviation operations will be instrumental in driving the company's continued growth. Additionally, he will represent Alpes Helicopteres directly with stakeholders in key cities and resorts across the French-Swiss Alps and the French Riviera. He will also be present at major business aviation and helicopter events, further enhancing the company's visibility and industry network.

Vincent Pollet and Nicolas Miras, co-managing directors of Alpes Helicopteres, state: “We are excited to welcome Nicolas Gachon to our team. His legal and operational expertise, combined with his passion for aviation, will be a great asset as we continue to innovate and grow.”

Gachon adds: “I am excited to join Alpes Helicopteres in this period of growth. There are many opportunities ahead for the company, and I look forward to meeting our clients and partners, while closely collaborating with the team to support our ongoing projects and initiatives.”

Based in Annecy since 2017, Alpes Helicopteres is an operator as well as a helicopter pilot school. Specialising in air mobility and aircraft management, the company boasts a varied fleet of helicopters for services such as leisure flights and VIP transfers. Today, it is the only airline in France to offer a helicopter co-ownership programme, leveraging new acquisition, financing and operational perspectives to its customers.
