Stack.aero, developer of the digital workflow platform Business Operations System (BOS), is partnering with Azzera to enable advanced carbon emission management for BOS users and their customers. The integration will facilitate direct access to the Azzera Celeste B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to calculate aircraft and journey greenhouse gas emissions; track, assess and manage SAF uplift, including book and claim options; and purchase carbon credits through the Azzera marketplace. To confirm compliance with different international industry mandates, Stack.aero customers will also have the option to generate relevant retirement certificates.

BOS users will be able to simultaneously manage the commercial process and related carbon management through a single user interface. This will empower charter brokers, operators and corporate flight departments to present customers with the opportunity to offset emissions from the start of the trip request lifecycle.

The Celeste marketplace hosts over 12 million offset projects, enabling users to confidently mitigate carbon emissions by purchasing credits authenticated through the Azzera Impact Scoring System. This validates each project's financial and technical credentials before inclusion in the marketplace.

“Adding access to the Azzera technology will augment functionality, raise awareness of the importance of carbon management to the industry and its passengers, and support our users in seeking credible carbon data and information. We are pleased to partner with industry experts to deliver technology that demystifies the complexity of carbon compliance and makes emissions calculation simple and accurate. This is important for our customers who must manage ever-increasing amounts of data generated by charter requests and operations,” says Greg Jarrett, CEO and founder of Stack.aero.

The Celeste platform removes onerous data handling tasks, reduces complexity for compliance managers and minimises manual data entry errors; it also categorises flights into respective carbon compliance markets and emissions trading schemes to streamline compliance with industry mandates.

“By adding Azzera's technology into the Stack.aero platform, we will make it simpler for brokers, operators and flight operations teams to offer immediate solutions and pricing to mitigate the climate impact of flight operations,” says Puja Mahajan, CEO and founder of Azzera. “The integration will increase Azzera's exposure to a sector seeking reliable, trustworthy solutions supporting the credible management of their carbon emissions, a crucial and necessary step in driving the aviation industry toward a net-zero future.”
