TC awards multi-year federal contract for aviation software
New aviation software will deliver a fully integrated digital, accessible solution to manage both aircraft inventory and maintenance tasks in full compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations.
TC's Aircraft Services Directorate has selected Ramco‘s Aircraft Inventory & Maintenance Management System for rotary and fixed wing fleets in support of multiple Canadian government departments.

Transport Canada's Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) has selected Ramco Systems‘ Aircraft Inventory & Maintenance Management System (AIMMS) software to provide an enterprise cloud-based solution for aircraft inventory and maintenance. The software will provide a fully integrated solution for rotary and fixed wing fleets at bases across Canada in support of multiple Canadian government departments.

The ASD is a multi-fleet air operator, responsible for the provision of aviation services in support of TC operations as well as those of other federal departments and agencies. With 52 aircraft, 24 of which are owned by TC, and operating on 15 bases across Canada, ASD provides aircraft operations, flight and simulator training services to TC and Transportation Safety Board inspectors, TC and Royal Canadian Air Force pilots, and maintenance technicians; conducts surveillance operations under the National Aerial Surveillance Program to search for ship-source pollution, participate in security patrols, participate in SAR operations, monitor habitats of endangered wildlife, and report ice conditions; provides services for DFO and CCG aircraft; and provides maintenance, engineering support and fleet management to the DND administrative and utility flight service.

With modules for Maintenance and Supply Chain Management, the aviation software will replace ASD's existing systems with a fully integrated solution to manage both aircraft inventory and maintenance tasks at the component level, in full compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations. The solution will provide ASD with modern, digital, accessible aircraft inventory and maintenance management activities from all operating bases. In addition, Ramco will help ASD enhance process efficiencies and go paperless with its Ramco Anywhere mobile apps.

Ramco CEO Sundar Subramanian says: “We are honoured to be chosen as Transport Canada's Aircraft Services Directorate technology partner for its digital transformation. This collaboration further expands and solidifies our position in Canada.”

Chief customer officer, aviation, aerospace and defence Manoj Kumar Singh adds: “The deal highlights Ramco Aviation's leadership position as a software provider for rotary and fixed wing special operations. Our dedication to delivering cutting-edge aviation technology, driving optimal process efficiency, ensuring complete visibility and promoting paperless operations, underscores our commitment to transforming the aviation industry and empowering our clients.”

Ramco Aviation Software is trusted by over 24,000 users to manage more than 4,000 aircraft globally. With in excess of 90 aviation organisations onboard, Ramco is the solution of choice for top airlines, third party MROs, large heli-operators, leading defence organisations and major urban air mobility companies around the world. Available on cloud, the Ramco aviation suite provides accessibility with ‘Anywhere’ apps, significantly accelerating organisational efficiency and agility. Ramco‘s enterprise software has Artificial Intelligence-based solutions, intelligent voice enabled user experience and advanced features such as digital task cards, offline maintenance capability, conversational chatbots, HUBs and cognitive solutions.
