Otter unveils hangar and executive lounge
This new facility is strategically situated on the east side of the airfield, providing ease of access from the busy commercial airline terminal on the west side. It spans 40,000 sq ft and includes convenient amenities.
The hydraulic door measures 118 ft.

Otter, a boutique air charter company with a fleet of new Pilatus PC-12NGX and PC-24 aircraft, has opened its brand-new hangar and executive passenger lounge located at 4175 Cassard Lane, Grand Rapids, MI 49512, at the Gerald R. Ford airport. This new facility is strategically situated on the east side of the airfield, providing ease of access from the busy commercial airline terminal on the west side.

The new 40,000 sq ft facility is a testament to Otter's commitment to providing the highest service level, offering and amenities to its clients. Designed with both efficiency and luxury in mind, the facility offers a range of features to enhance the passenger experience.

Key features and amenities include: a spacious hangar which accommodates a variety of aircraft in a climate-controlled environment with in-house aircraft maintenance capabilities; hangar door – the facility boasts the largest glass single frame hydraulic door on the airfield, measuring 118 feet in width; a luxurious passenger lounge, designed for comfort and convenience, featuring plush seating throughout, high-speed Wi-Fi, private workspaces, commissioned artwork with aviation and travel inspiration, pool table, shuffleboard and a premium refreshment bar; a terrace – the first open air terrace at the airport, offering stunning views; and VIP services – Otter is known for its customer-centric approach, offering personalised hospitality services to cater to the unique needs of each passenger.
