StandardAero's engine service centre in Gosport, UK recently celebrated the induction of the 500th Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW300 Eagle Service Plan (ESP) engine for scheduled maintenance. The Gosport site has been a P&WC Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) since 2009.
"We are very proud of the Gosport team's milestone achievement of 500 PW300 ESP service events," says president Tony Brancato. "This accomplishment underscores the trust that our customers have in StandardAero and our experienced team."
Marc Turcotte, P&WC director of service network, quality and MRO engineering services, adds: "The scheduled maintenance of the 500th PW300 engine highlights the strength of our global service network and our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers through our longstanding collaboration with StandardAero."
StandardAero Gosport has grown to service business aircraft engines in addition to military and helicopter engines during its more than 80 year tenure at Fleetlands Heliport. In that time, it has expanded the site's capabilities and technical experience, providing valued jobs to more than 400 employees in the region.
"The Gosport team serves customers from all over the EMEA region and beyond, and we appreciate that operators continue to turn to us for quality engine maintenance services that ensure the safety of their passengers and crew," says Tom Rooke, director of engine at StandardAero Gosport.
StandardAero also celebrates the 20th anniversary of global P&WC PW300 and PW500 engine support this year.
