Amaro Aviation enters rotary segment with Bell 429
The Bell 429 will go into operation within a few months and an AW09, signed for at the start of 2024, should be delivered in 2025.
Amaro will use the Bell 429 GlobalRanger for charter, package hours and fractional ownership.

Brazil-based Amaro Aviation is to enter the rotary wing segment over coming months with a Bell 429. The helicopter will be available for charter, package hours and also for fractional ownership. This follows the company's acquisition of a Leonardo AW09 through Gualter Helicopteros at the beginning of the year, which will make Amaro Aviation the Brazilian launch customer of the model when it is delivered in 2025.

The Bell 429 is a twin-turbine helicopter, capable of accommodating up to six passengers in comfort and two pilots. It is one of the models with the lowest maintenance costs.

"We are very excited to expand the service offering for our customers with rotary wings, complementing what we already offer with long-range aircraft, with our PC-24 jets and PC-12 NGX turboprop," says CEO Marcos Amaro. He believes it is necessary to meet the needs of charter customers with different types of aircraft, so as to be able to recommend the most appropriate one for each need.
