Empire Aviation Group is reporting strong activity in the Middle East and south east Asia, and says that its Globals and Legacys have been particularly active on the charter market. The company operates Legacy 600 and 650s, Global 6000 and 7500, a Gulfstream G650ER and a Boeing BBJ.

“The Gulfstream does well out of Asia and the BBJ we use for longer and larger group trips, where we are seeing an uptick,” comments founder and MD Paras Dhamecha. “South east Asia has been active and then with the Middle East with all the business activity going on, the growth has been good. We are also doing a lot of flying in and out of Europe, and some to the US as well. 2024 so far has been really good. During Ramadan things were slower for a month or so, but we tend to pick up in other regions. We are due to have three aircraft join the fleet between now and the end of the year, and we will end up doing six or seven transactions for clients around the world that we manage. So, yes, it is a pretty exciting time.”

Empire has a new office facility breaking ground within a month or so at Dubai World Central Al Maktoum. This brings it closer to the action and it hopes to have the building up and running by the Dubai Airshow next year. CAMO is also going well. “We were the first to be able to do standalone CAMO work out of San Marino for commercial aircraft,” Dhamecha concludes.
