Web Manuals takes digital down under with Australia office
The opening of a Sydney office marks a milestone in Web Manual's expansion across APAC as it responds to the region's growing appetite for digitalisation, automation, innovation and an evolving regulatory landscape.
Director of operations, APAC Emil Ahlgren.

Web Manuals is opening an Australian entity in Sydney in response to the significant growth of its business in the APAC region, where it increased its customer base by more than 60 per cent in 2023. This will be the second APAC location for the company and will be overseen by the APAC office in Singapore, which opened in 2021.

Web Manuals won 27 new customers in APAC in 2023, bringing it to a total of 55 across the region; they included airlines, helicopter, mission/medical, cargo and business jet operators. One of the most recent is Australia-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, which delivers aeromedical search, rescue and inter-hospital transfers for 1.5 million people, bringing Web Manuals' global client base to more than 600 organisations.

Emil Ahlgren, director of operations, APAC says: "The opening of our Australian office marks a milestone in our expansion across APAC as we respond to the region's growing appetite for digitalisation, automation and innovation, as well as an evolving regulatory landscape. Launching the regional entity will enable us to further expand our services to customers based in Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the Pacific. We look forward to being closer to our existing customers, strengthening partnerships and welcoming many more operators to the rapidly growing Web Manuals community."

Web Manuals is headquartered in Malmo, Sweden and, in addition to Sydney, has bases in New York, San Diego and Singapore.
