Web Manuals has unveiled its new PDF Reader designed specifically for aviation professionals to make document navigation simpler, faster and more intuitive.
Administrators can now seamlessly upload and connect regulations directly to their PDFs, making compliance management simple. The new function also comes with the advanced option to track changes and preview how the documentation will appear for Web Manuals' Readers, improving accuracy.
Readers can easily navigate between updates and maintain personalised annotations, highlights and bookmarks across all revisions, facilitating fast access to vital information and enhancing efficiency. Fillable forms, electronic signatures and direct change requests smooths the workflow between document users and editors.
Enhanced search capabilities allow users to quickly identify relevant safety information, while zoom technology maintains high-res image quality, making it easier and more user-intuitive than ever to work with digital documentation. Owing to the consistent layout, design and functionalities, users can seamlessly transition from web documents to the new PDF Reader, enhancing their user experience.
Chief technology officer Richard Sandstrom says: “Ensuring straight-forward navigation and accessibility has been key to launching our new PDF Reader. Our aim has always been to support aviation businesses with advanced digital capabilities. Elevating our PDF function will allow users to access a broader range of documentation, streamline their workflow and experience new levels of efficiency. We’ve made it simple for business aviation organisations to prioritise digitalisation when it comes to safety and compliance management.”
The PDF Reader will be launched in the Web Manuals Core 2024.10 update, due for release in Q4 2024.
