Cove Aviation Partners renews Wyvern Wingman certification
After the audit at the end of 2023, Cove has secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator.

Cove Aviation Partners, an aircraft charter and management company headquartered in Van Nuys, California has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit.

"Cove Aviation, renowned for its boutique flight services, proudly embraces the 'Above Elite' motto in every aspect of our operations. Our focus is on delivering unparalleled, personalised aviation experiences, ensuring that every journey with our fleet of meticulously maintained aircraft isn't just a flight, but a statement of luxury and exclusivity. This ethos is the cornerstone of our brand, setting us apart in the world of elite aviation," says director of operations Tyler Burk.

Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.

"We applaud Cove Aviation Partners for once again demonstrating its compliance with the Wingman standard, which not only validates its safety management system for worldwide compliance, but also verifies its conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance," says Andrew Day, Wyvern senior vice president of operations.

Cove Aviation operates a G650ER based in a private hangar in Van Nuys, and a Bell 429 helicopter based seasonally in Teterboro, New Jersey and East Hampton in New York.
