GrandView Aviation has been awarded Wyvern Wingman PRO certification after achieving excellence in association with ongoing participation in Wyvern's Flight Leader Program. A safety benchmark set above Wyvern's flagship Wingman programme, Wingman PRO is the aviation industry's highest safety standard.
GrandView Aviation is an FAA Part 135 certified private aviation charter operator serving VIP clients and medical transplant transport missions. The company owns and operates a modern fleet of Phenom 300 jets providing access to departure points across the US from its 11 bases in Baltimore/DC, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Austin, Phoenix, Denver, Reno, Metro New York and Sacramento. In 2022, the company was acquired by Global Medical Response and operates under AirMed International.
"Grandview's mission is 'Setting the New Standard in Private Aviation', and earning this elite Wingman PRO designation validates and further distinguishes our stellar reputation among US private charter operators. It's worth noting that out of the hundreds of Wingman certified operators, GrandView Aviation is only the 15th designated as Wyvern Wingman PRO", says director of safety Manny Figlia. "GrandView Aviation's robust safety culture is the backbone of our company, and every single team member, including our pilots and instructors, maintenance and quality assurance teams, operational control center, sales team and support staff, is an indispensable contributor."
Wyvern Wingman PRO is issued once an already established Wingman operator demonstrates effectiveness in all areas of SMS, excellence in the addressing of human factors and organisational safety culture, and continuous conformity to international standards by way of an internal audit programme.
"We applaud GrandView Aviation's accomplishment as a Wingman PRO operator, which signifies the organisation's commitment to embracing safety as a core value. Wingman PRO operators not only conform to international standards, they also embrace transparency with their safety data so end users can trust their decisions," says Wyvern senior vice president, operations Andrew Day.
