Bucher and CARE share air rescue development in China
The two companies are taking a pioneering path in air rescue in China that aims not only to provide the latest equipment, but also set new standards through comprehensive training and operational operations.
Bucher and CARE sign a declaration of intent for the joint development of air rescue in China.

China Aviation Rescue & Emergency (CARE) is the launch customer in China for Bucher Leichtbau's AC67 flex multiple mission configuration interior for the Airbus H135, and is planning to order 10 additional pieces of equipment.

"In view of the requirements of medical rescue missions in the Yangtze Delta region, the H135 helicopter with Bucher's AC67 flex HEMS equipment was selected to carry out the HEMS operation. This should not only cover the rescue area, but also VIP customer needs. Back in April this year we selected and procured Bucher's quick-install medical configuration equipment, the AC67 flex. This marks the first application of an interior with a 20-minute rapid switch between VIP and medical configurations in China and significantly expands the versatile operational capabilities of helicopters in the country," says a spokesperson from CARE.

Bucher has also provided theoretical and practical training for domestic medical personnel that meets international standards and regulations, a training model that has already received recognition and support from globally renowned HEMS experts.

The AC67 flex, with its 'Quick Release' system, allows seamless transitions between emergency services, VIP, police, cargo, fire or military. This versatility has not only piqued the interest of rescue companies, but has also appealed to private helicopter operators looking to maximise their operational efficiency through frequent configuration changes.
