Savback aims to expand multi-mission interior clientele
With the growing global demand for HEMS applications, Savback is excited to integrate Bucher’s innovative, quick change equipment into its offerings.
Rolf Kraus, Bucher Leichtbau director of sales MIC with Savback CEO and founder Michael Savback and Ralph Setz, senior representative Bucher Leichtbau.

Savback has partnered with Bucher Leichtbau, a Switzerland-based provider of multi-mission helicopter interiors.

“This partnership presents a valuable opportunity to enhance our service to customers,” says Reja Savbäck, head of marketing and business development. “As specialists in helicopter sales, we are dedicated to understanding the unique needs of each operator. With the growing global demand for HEMS applications, we are excited to integrate Bucher’s innovative equipment solutions into our offerings. Our commitment to client focus and excellence drives us to continuously evolve and strengthen relationships with existing and future clients. We believe in shared values of integrity, innovation and collaboration, each essential to delivering superior solutions in the helicopter market.”

Bucher Leichtbau is known for its flexible, high-performance interiors, designed to meet the unique needs of private helicopter operators. Unlike government or foundation-run services, these operators often prioritise versatility to maximise aircraft usage across a range of missions from HEMS and VIP transport to law enforcement, cargo, firefighting and military roles. Bucher’s adaptable solutions, including the AC70 flex for the Airbus H145, and AC67 flex for the H135, give operators the ability to switch configurations effortlessly, ensuring they are always prepared for the next mission.

Bucher’s quick-release interior system, deployed across helicopters operating in demanding environments worldwide, enables swift and seamless reconfiguration from VIP to alternate mission setups for both new and pre-owned helicopters, in minimal time. This flexibility empowers operators to adapt quickly to diverse mission requirements, enhancing efficiency and operational readiness, while ensuring they can maximise the capabilities of their fleets.

Director of sales MIC Rolf Kraus says: “With over 50 years’ expertise and an unwavering commitment to precision and innovation, Bucher remains dedicated to designing adaptable, high-performance interior solutions that serve the evolving needs of today’s operators. Collaborating with Savback, a company with a heritage and client focus that mirrors our own, enables us to reach a broader audience seeking versatile interior solutions that can seamlessly transition across multiple missions each day. Our shared dedication to client satisfaction and operational excellence fuels our drive to push the limits of what’s possible, positioning us to set new benchmarks in the rotary market.”
