Phenix Jet expands footprint into southeast Asia with Singapore branch
The number of aircraft in Singapore has increased steadily post-COVID and a branch there will support accelerating demand for aircraft management and charter services.
Phenix Jet has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator.

Phenix Jet has opened a Singapore branch in response to growing demand for aircraft management and charter services in southeast Asia.

Sojitz Corp company Phenix Jet has built a strong track record in east Asia through its Hong Kong and Japanese locations. With the establishment of the new branch, it will start offering its one-of-a-kind Japanese-style service and hospitality to clients within the fast-growing southeast Asian region, all the while adhering to the highest global aviation safety standards.

Against the backdrop of Singapore being the first country to lift its COVID restrictions in Asia, affluent clients around the world have started shifting their Asian wealth base to Singapore, which is helping drive Singapore to become the future business hub of Asia. The number of aircraft in Singapore and other southeast Asia countries has increased steadily, and the Singapore branch will support accelerating demand for aircraft management and charter services businesses. It will also allow Phenix Jet to increase its rapidly growing presence from east Asia to southeast Asia.

Phenix Jet is delighted with the response from the industry and potential clientele concerning the expansion of our offering in this region. We are excited to continue the successful product implementation with our proven track record of success,” says Andrew Svoboda, CEO, Phenix Jet Cayman.

“We will continue challenging ourselves to become one of the top operators in Asia,” adds Yohei Sakurai, manager, business jet section, aerospace and transportation project division, Sojitz Corporation.

The company has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit, conducted by Wyvern in June 2023.

“The Wyvern Wingman certification is a prestigious achievement. We are immensely proud of our team for making the Wyvern Wingman standard our company's operating culture. This renewal reaffirms Phenix Jets' commitment to safety and excellence, and further solidifies our reputation as a trusted and reliable operator. Our customers have confidence in our services knowing that we meet the stringent safety standards set by Wyvern,” says Phenix Jet president and CEO Paul Schembari.

Phenix Jet's certification as a Wyvern Wingman operator sets it apart from other operators in the air charter industry. This achievement validates its commitment to attaining and maintaining an enduring safety culture that elevates its performance above other operators that are just beginning to embrace the value of formal safety risk management,” says Wyvern vice president, operations Andrew Day.
