TexasJet Aviation is set to use ForeFlight’s flight planning software ForeFlight Dispatch across its global managed fleet.
The agreement builds upon Jet Aviation’s current utilisation of Boeing’s digital solutions, including Jeppesen charts, NavData and FliteDeck Pro, by introducing ForeFlight Dispatch as its primary flight planning platform. The tool centralises all flight planning on a single platform with capabilities including flexible operational rules for adapting to unique operational needs.
“ForeFlight Dispatch represents another important step in our global aircraft management technology journey,” says David Best, Jet Aviation senior vice president and general manager, Americas. “The tool allows us to provide increased visibility on flight data for both the planner and the pilot, automating many parts of the process and integrating into a crew app and the aircraft software to provide a seamless plan. Using one tool across our global network ensures that our teams are more easily able to collaborate to provide an effortless experience for our crews, wherever they fly with Jet Aviation. We are excited to embark on this journey with ForeFlight and look forward to building on this initial launch and continuing to integrate features across our network.”
ForeFlight Dispatch produces Eurocontrol-valid routes with speed and flexibility, efficiently transmitting finished flights to pilots, complete with detailed briefing documents available to review straightaway.
“We are excited to strengthen our relationship with Jet Aviation,” adds ForeFlight CEO Tim Schuetze. “With its global presence and diverse fleet, Jet Aviation’s embrace of ForeFlight Dispatch demonstrates significant foresight as the future of business aviation relies on seamlessly integrated, cloud-based solutions.”
