ANAC in Brazil grants approval to Avantto
Among the new determinations from ANAC are limitations on the number of shares per aircraft (16 for jets and 32 for helicopters), the definition of legal responsibilities and more rigorous training requirements.
It's a key moment for fractional companies in Latin America.

Avantto has received certification from Brazil's Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC) regarding the RBAC-91K Shared Ownership Administrator (EA) regulation.

Due to its experience of more than a decade in the sector and position of absolute leadership in the market, Avantto was invited to participate in two public hearings in 2015 and 2019, and numerous private sessions with ANAC to contribute to the development of Subpart K of RBAC91, which deals with the regulation of the shared ownership model. Among the new determinations are limitations on the number of shares per aircraft (16 for jets and 32 for helicopters), the definition of legal responsibilities for the operation of aircraft and more rigorous requirements regarding pilot training, aircraft maintenance and operational safety management systems.

Avantto is a significant player in the Latin America private aviation market and a leading Brazilian company in fractional ownership of jets and helicopters.

Rogerio Andrade, CEO of Avantto, celebrates the certification and reinforced the importance of the document to promote the sector that is constantly growing: “We are very happy about this important moment for aviation and also for all fractional aviation companies. We have been offering this service for many years, and we know how important this certification is to promote a sector that is in full expansion. We are noticing a change every time faster in the way people consume, prioritising experience over ownership and the fractional model perfectly meets these desires. Therefore, it is important that the sector is regulated and companies comply with standards to deliver a service with safety and excellence as we have been doing for more than a decade.”
