Davinci Jets, a Part 135 operator headquartered at Charlotte Douglas International airport in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been awarded the Wyvern Wingman PRO certification after demonstrating excellence in association with a successful audit, conducted by Wyvern in April 2023. Wingman PRO validates organisational safety culture, utilising the most advanced safety culture evaluation tools recognised by safety experts and regulatory bodies worldwide. A safety benchmark set above Wyvern's flagship Wingman programme, Wingman PRO is the private aviation industry's highest safety standard.
“Today we are pleased to announce the attainment of Wyvern Wingman PRO status,” says Eric Legvold, Davinci Jets' CEO. “This remarkable milestone represents the culmination of our strong culture of safety and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of SMS. Wyvern Wingman PRO unlocks a new dimension of safety for those who see safety as a mindset and not just a check in the box. With Wyvern Wingman PRO, we can show the industry and our clients that safety is truly a part of Davinci Jets' DNA. Safety remains at the forefront of shaping the future of private aviation, and we are proud to show that we are a part of the leading effort.”
The Wyvern Wingman PRO certification is available for all operators in Wyvern's legacy Wingman audit programme and Flight Leader Program, which includes a thorough review of the operator's safety performance and operational practices to ensure they align with industry best practices. The Wingman PRO certificate is issued once the already established Wingman operator demonstrates effectiveness in all areas of SMS, excellence in the addressing human factors and organisational safety culture, and continuous conformity to international standards through an internal audit programme.
“Davinci Jets certification as a Wyvern Wingman PRO operator sets it apart from other operators in the air charter industry. This achievement validates its commitment to attaining and maintaining an enduring safety culture that elevates its performance above other operators who are just beginning to embrace the value of formal safety risk management,” says Sonnie Bates, Wyvern CEO.
