Stuart, Florida-headquartered operator Premier Air dba Premier Private Jets has once more secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit conducted by Wyvern in March 2023. The Wyvern Wingman standard, the first air charter audit standard in the aviation industry, provides a safety benchmark that allows air charter customers to assess performance expectations against recognised industry best operating practices before purchasing air charter services.
Premier's founder and CEO, Josh Birmingham, shares: “This achievement is a clear demonstration of our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety in our operations and puts us in the top five per cent of charter operators who have earned this status. We are proud to have reached this milestone and look forward to continuing to provide safe and reliable service to our clients.”
Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.
“We applaud Premier Private Jet's accomplishment as a Wingman operator, which signifies the organisation's commitment to embracing safety as a core value. Wingman operators not only conform to international standards, they also embrace transparency with their safety data so end users can trust their decisions,” says Sonnie Bates, Wyvern CEO.
Premier Private Jets operates a fleet of company-owned light and medium-size jets, as well as FAR Part 145 certified repair stations at Witham Field (SUA) in Stuart, Florida and Oakland International County airport (PTK) in Pontiac, Michigan, and an FBO facility at PTK.
