When Club Aéreo Capecar asked for a more advanced flight training device, Proflight showed it an en-1000x with a custom G1000 replica and the deal went through.

Spain-based simulator developer entrol, in collaboration with its Chilean representative Proflight, will deliver the first reconfigurable en-1000x simulator to Club Aéreo Capecar in spring 2023.

This simulator will be installed at Club Aéreo Capecar's premises in Santiago. It will be certified as an AATD for SEP and MEP purposes by the Chilean DGAC, and will be equipped with SEP complex G1000 and MEP G1000 configurations, a cylindrical visual system with a FOV of 200°x40° and a customised database that includes most of the main Chilean operating areas.

"After many years working with Club Aéreo Capecar, it asked for a better and more advanced flight training device, according to today's standards. I immediately offered it an en-1000x with the custom G1000 replica, which completely fulfilled its needs. After I showed it the simulator, it was charmed by all it could offer, and it only took a few months to complete the purchase," says Proflight founder Jose Miguel Silva Alessandri.

Club Aéreo Capecar flight school manager Eduardo Pradel Escala adds: "The simulator has exceeded the expectations we had at the start of the project. The realism is incredibly high; we were astonished by the quality of the device. We are completely convinced that this simulator will improve our training at Club Aéreo Capecar."
