Why visit ACE ’25?
Web Manuals has expanded its US customer portfolio by signing California Aeronautical University (CAU) at the recent HAI Heli-Expo 2023.
CAU is modernising the management of its safety and training manuals with the support of Web Manuals. Opting to condense each document into one digital system, while enabling faster editing and distributing of its manuals, will enhance safety and improve the experience of more than 400 students who attend the university.
CAU president Matthew Johnston says: “CAU offers a variety of aviation-related degree programmes, including pilot training and aviation maintenance courses. This means that we are often tasked with administrating a high volume of safety manuals and student workbooks.
“Switching to Web Manuals' digital documentation system will not only enable us to make time-savings when it comes to editing and distributing our manuals, students will also benefit from having faster access to our amends. Our whole aviation community will experience the advantages of moving to a real time document management system.”
Web Manuals vice president of sales Americas Krister Genmark adds: “CAU provides training for more than 350 students looking to pursue careers in aviation. Modernising how the school manages, edits and distributes its manuals will be beneficial to the students who rely on accurate documentation for their learnings, as well as in preparation for their own document management within the aviation workplace.
“It's been a pleasure to meet with the CAU team during HAI Heli-Expo, and it's great to see how our community can support future pilots and aviation professionals.”
With locations throughout California and in Arizona, CAU is a university flight school. Now with more than 500 customers worldwide, Web Manuals serves over 125 customers in the US.
