Abu Dhabi-based operator and FBO RoyalJet has added yet another Boeing Business Jet to its fleet, taking the total number of BBJs to 13. The company had also acquired a BBJ earlier this year, which then made it the world’s largest BBJ operator in the world.
The latest BBJ boasts a 19 passenger VVIP interior with a forward crew rest area, a master bedroom with a private lavatory and shower, and a first class lounge. Finished with custom-made materials and design configuration, the BBJ is designed for the best functionality and maximum comfort.
The lounge area is equipped with a custom liner system, CMS-controlled electric window shades, VIP-style custom carpet, LED reading, table lights and wash lighting with customised mood presets. It also has a 32 inch monitor, cabinets with two pull out tables on each side, hanging storage and active emergency exits.
The master bedroom is fitted with CMS-controlled electric window shades, VIP-style custom carpet, wash lighting and a 42 inch monitor. There’s also under-bed storage, a nightstand with storage and a full height closet with storage. In the rear of the aircraft is the master lavatory complete with a rectangular shower.
RoyalJet CEO Mohammed Husain Ahmed says: “Over all of last year, demand exceeded supply in the premium aviation industry across the region. The overall health of the global private jet market has been going strong, and this growth is expected to reach greater heights as we move into a very busy period packed with events and conferences. The UAE’s leadership has committed itself to supporting tourism and global trade by investing in building a strong logistics sector. In line with the UAE leadership’s vision, we are actively looking to expand our operations to serve our premium clientele. Adding the new BBJ is a step in that direction.”
RoyalJet has also, once more, secured its designation as a Wyvern Wingman certified operator following a successful audit conducted by Wyvern in October 2022.
“At RoyalJet, we uphold safety as our top priority, and the renewal of the Wingman certification is an affirmation of our well-established and robust safety management system. This is the result of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards and is a key endorsement within the business aviation industry and corroborates our dedication excellence, and professionalism in providing exceptional services to our customers. We look forward to continued brilliance in delivering safety standards and personalised services to our clientele,” says Ahmed.
Wyvern Wingman operators are evaluated by the Wingman Standard criteria. The scope of the evaluation includes an assessment of operational activities, review on the company operational history and safety records, safety management system (SMS), internal evaluation programme, administrative compositions, technical documentation, pilot and aircraft records, training requirements and maintenance operations including technician training and experience.
“We commend RoyalJet for successfully renewing its Wingman certification, which not only validates its safety management system for international compliance, but also verifies its conformance to the highest global standards and industry professional codes of practice in operations and aircraft maintenance,” says Wyvern CEO Sonnie Bates.
