BAN's World Gazetteer
TexasUS-based Galaxy FBO has opened its third location in Texas at Addison airport, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, on the southeast side at the end of Runway 33. The modern, purpose-built facility includes a single storey terminal building with dedicated pilot and passenger lounges, conference rooms and a covered vehicle garage. Three large corporate hangars with turn-key aviation office space and a large, uninterrupted ramp are all a part of the new campus, located just across from the Addison Circle Park for easy access. The Galaxy FBO facility and service quality levels surpass the World Fuel Corporation's Air Elite Network standards.
General manager Jamie Muñoz will oversee a group of NATA-certified customer service and line service representatives there. She has been active in general aviation in the Dallas-Fort Worth for many years, is co-chair for the NBAA's Young Professionals council and was a 2020 NBAA Top 40 Under 40 recipient.
In addition, a brand new third corporate hangar has been added to Galaxy's Houston William P Hobby airport location. The 290 ft by 125 ft facility was recently completed next to the company's two existing hangars. With its 28 ft height and 245 ft width door clearance, the 39,000 sq ft hangar can handle large cabin business jets such the Bombardier Global 7500 or Gulfstream G650. It also includes over 5,000 sq ft of office and storage space.
