Web Manuals doubles up for digitalisation
The uncertainty of the past two years has led to greater adoption of technology throughout the industry. Web Manuals has certainly seen increased demand for document digitalisation and is recruiting in response.
Chief operating officer Paul Sandström.

As a result of strong growth in 2021, Web Manuals has promoted two senior executives, Paul Sandström and Krister Genmark, and hired 20 new employees.

Sandström has been appointed chief operating officer following nearly 10 years at the company. His previous roles have included director of operations EMEA and chief revenue officer, as well as serving as a board member for the Swedish Aviation Group.

Genmark, who joined the company in 2016 as regional manager for Americas, has been promoted to vice president of sales worldwide. During his tenure, Genmark has been responsible for setting up Web Manuals' North American office and is instrumental in the increased growth in the region. His new role will oversee sales across the EMEA, Americas and APAC regions, with colleague Nick Karagiannis taking over the position of US sales manager.

As the company continues to expand to meet the increased demand for document digitalisation, it is also recruiting 20 new roles over the coming year for its offices around the world.

CEO and founder Martin Lidgard says: “The uncertainty of the past two years has led to greater adoption of technology throughout the industry. The rapidly changing regulations and restrictions have resulted in many aviation companies recognising the need for better document management efficiency and we expect the role of digitisation to remain important.

“Promoting Paul and Krister to these key roles, in addition to the 20 newly created positions, will help the company continue to develop and deliver its products throughout the world.”

With improving safety and efficiency through digitalisation a core theme for the aviation industry, Web Manuals has also grown its customer base to more than 400 business aviation charter operators, airlines, helicopter fleets, cargo and training centres worldwide.
