CanadaTexas-based FBO McCreery Aviation has been awarded a Stage III IS-BAH registration after successfully completing a comprehensive safety audit. The company becomes just the third FBO in the US to attain this highest level of safety standard established by IS-BAH, which operates under the jurisdiction of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).
According to IS-BAH programme director Terry Yeomans, an IS-BAH Stage III registration verifies that safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator's business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained.
“By choosing to voluntarily adopt and implement the global industry best safety practices within the IS-BAH through to Stage III, McCreery Aviation has shown continued positive commitment to the management of, and the accountability for, safety at the core of its service provision, enabling a consistent experience to its valued customers," says Yeomans. "The entire team at McCreery should be very proud of this achievement and the drive to promote safer ground handling operations to the business aviation community.”
Located at the McAllen Miller International airport in McAllen, Texas, McCreery Aviation was founded in 1946 and is a full-service family-owned FBO that offers aircraft fuelling, maintenance, aircraft sales, avionics service and installation, charter, parts and operates a flight school.
