Jets.com becomes second broker certified by Wyvern
To be recognised as a Wyvern Certified Broker, the organisation must undergo a virtual audit to determine the degree to which its policies, processes and procedures conform to Wyvern's ethical code and standards.

Jets.com, the New York-based charter brokerage, has secured its designation as the first US Wyvern Certified Broker by completing a successful audit. While all Wyvern brokers promise to abide by Wyvern's professional codes of practice, only Wyvern Certified Brokers are thoroughly vetted by an experienced, professional, internationally accredited aviation safety auditor. Jets.com joins Flapper as Wyvern's second broker to achieve this status.

Wyvern's broker certification programme supports its mission to elevate safety and security worldwide. The programme provides a clear, highly-focused and economical pathway for organisations to achieve their goals related to safety risk management, compliance with national regulations, conformance to international standards and industry best practices.

To be recognised as a Wyvern Certified Broker, the organisation must undergo a virtual audit to determine the degree to which its policies, processes and procedures conform to Wyvern's ethical code and standards. Once conformity is ensured, the organisation is eligible to be formally recognised by Wyvern for its achievement.

“We are proud to be recognised as a Wyvern Certified Broker at Jets.com,” says Desirae Pellegrino, director of compliance, Jets.com. “Our Assure Standards were set in place to give our clients the peace of mind in knowing we are committed to their safety. Our team stays current with aviation safety trends and will continue to improve our methods with Wyvern's guided support.”

Wyvern CEO Sonnie Bates adds: “Wyvern celebrates Jets.com's achievement. Successful completion of the Certified Broker audit is proof that its leadership has identified safety as a core value and its team embraces excellence at all levels.”

Meanwhile Caledonia Jets, a charter brokerage with bases in the UK and USA, has successfully enrolled in the Wyvern Broker membership programme. Wyvern Brokers have access to Wyvern's data platform called Aviation Compliance Enhancement System (ACES), which allows them to be the smartest charter buyers in the industry.

Caledonia Jets is now eligible to provide clients with a Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey (PASS) report which verifies that the operator, aircraft and crew being deployed meet the global benchmark in safety, The Wingman Standard. ACES also enables Wyvern Brokers to establish custom safety analysis reports to meet their needs.
