GDC Technics has announced the delivery of a B777-300ER, one of two being modified for a head of state customer, completed with exterior modifications and additional interior cabin customisations.
The B777-300ER exterior modifications focused on equipping the aircraft with technologies including an extensive security system, quad cameras and a Ku satcom antenna for global connectivity and full-range IFE functionality. The wide-body aircraft interior was completely reconfigured with office space, meeting rooms, a medical bay, press briefing area and VVIP stateroom. Along with completing the interior modifications with state-of-the-art materials, GDC also worked with multiple vendors to provide the highest quality interior components throughout the aircraft.
“We were trusted to complete this incredible, two-aircraft project for our customer, and we are proud to have delivered the first aircraft successfully,” says Brad Foreman, GDC Technics CEO. “We overcame the difficulties and delays presented due to the COVID-19 pandemic and were still able to exceed our customer's satisfaction with this delivery. We look forward to delivering the second completed aircraft to our customer later this month.”
The company has recently established multiple processes to combat setbacks the novel COVID-19 virus has caused. Because of these developments, GDC Technics continues to complete projects while maintaining its quality of work and has set multiple corporate records, several of which were accomplished on this B777-300ER aircraft, for things such as STCs, TIAs and virtual training session achievements.
