Elliott guarantees downtimes for Garmin installations
Elliott has installed more than 50 total Garmin G5000 systems in the Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP and Citation Excel/XLS, and over 350 Garmin G1000/G1000 NXi systems in King Airs.
In addition to installation, Elliott offers free familiarisation sessions.

Elliott Aviation has announced a $3,000 per day guaranteed four-week downtime on standalone Citation Excel/XLS Garmin G5000 retrofits. Elliott Aviation has delivered an industry-leading 12 Garmin G5000 equipped Citation Excel/XLS aircraft. In addition, Elliott Aviation offers free avionics familiarisation with all Garmin G5000 installations at its headquarters in Moline, Illinois.

The Garmin G5000 for the Citation Excel/XLS replaces all existing Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics, including the autopilot and flight director. The retrofit has WAAS/LPV, ADS-B, XM weather, electronic charts, SafeTaxi, engine monitor data and emergency descent mode. It also has optional synthetic vision, turbulence detection, SurfaceWatch, underspeed protection, Chartview, CPDLC and lightning and hail prediction.

Elliott has completed more Garmin full cockpit retrofits than all other dealers in the world combined. It has installed more than 50 total Garmin G5000 systems in the Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP and Citation Excel/XLS, and over 350 Garmin G1000/G1000 NXi systems in King Airs.

“As we continue to lead the industry in Garmin G5000 retrofits, we wanted to offer customers the peace-of-mind that comes with a guaranteed four-week downtime,” says Conrad Theisen, director of avionics sales at Elliott Aviation. “Our avionics team is dedicated to delivering highest-level of customer satisfaction and support to our customers.”

The 12 Citation Excel/XLS Garmin G5000 installations to date have been completed at both Elliott Aviation's headquarters in Moline, Illinois and at its facility in Des Moines, Iowa. It also has one-stop-shop maintenance, paint, interior and accessories capabilities at its Moline headquarters.

Elliott has also announced a $3,000 per day guaranteed three-week downtime on standalone King Air Garmin G1000 NXi installations.

The Garmin G1000 NXi in the King Air is the latest technology, which includes an all new autopilot, WAAS/LPV, synthetic vision, XM weather, geo-referenced charts, RVSM, SurfaceWatch runway monitoring and cockpit connectivity.

“We've led the industry in G1000 and G1000 NXi installations for over a decade,” says Theisen. “By offering a three-week downtime guarantee, customers can be assured they are getting the best-quality installation by the most experienced team in the world in the shortest downtime in the industry.”
