Elliott Aviation has successfully completed its first Starlink installation on a King Air 350 at its DeKalb-Peachtree (PDK) airport facility in Atlanta, Georgia. Starlink, offered by SpaceX, is an advanced satellite internet service bringing unprecedented in-flight internet connectivity through a high-speed, low-latency service.

“It is great working with a team that takes pride in every project they deliver,” says Bill Forbes, Elliot’s vice president of avionics programmes. “With Starlink, our customers can enjoy uninterrupted internet access from home, to the office and now in the skies. This installation is a game-changer for business and leisure travellers alike.”

Starlink's in-flight internet delivers download speeds ranging from 40-220Mbps, upload speeds of 8-25Mbps and latency as low as 20-60 milliseconds. Offering data plans starting at $2,000 per month, it enables continuous connectivity for critical functions such as Zoom meetings, FaceTime calls and other high-bandwidth applications.

Elliott Aviation is now offering Starlink installations at its facilities in Des Moines, Moline and Minneapolis in addition to Atlanta, accommodating a range of aircraft including the King Air 350, Citation XL, XLS, XLS+, and Challenger 350, 300 and 604.

“With our leading team and multiple installation centres, we’re driven to deliver business travellers unmatched connectivity, boosting productivity and convenience wherever they go,” Forbes adds.
