Epps Aviation has achieved the ARGUS Platinum rating, which places it in the upper five per cent of over 1,000 US-based charter operators.
The company has a diverse and unusual mixed charter fleet at Atlanta (Dekalb Peachtree) including Pilatus PC-12, Cessna Citation and HondaJet aircraft.
The Platinum rating is the highest level of the ARGUS audit standard and is awarded only to those air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of industry best safety practices relative to their operations and maintenance.
Achieving ARGUS Platinum is a testament to the aviation community that safety is Epps Aviation's top priority. The ARGUS Platinum rating consists of an audit that takes an in-depth look into the quality of documented processes in place in addition to the strength of the safety management system implemented by the operation. Receiving a Platinum rating means the operation was examined over several days by a team of on-site auditors and subsequently completed all corrective actions necessary to meet the standard.
Gregg Johnson, FAA compliance and safety manager, states: “I am pleased that ARGUS was able to complete its auditing process prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The significance of this certification is that it recognises and verifies all the hard work put in by the Epps charter team in order to be a leader in the industry. When travel rebounds, travellers exercising more caution will see our Platinum rating and know Epps is going above and beyond to fly them safely.”
This rating demonstrates a continued commitment to safety and ongoing quality improvement in all areas of the organisation. Interested parties can verify Epps Aviation's Platinum status at any time via the ARGUS CHEQ System.
