Zela Aviation has appointed newly recruited Elena Tzannou as regional sales manager Greece, based in its new Athens office. She will focus on ACMI activity and help expand relationships on several of the company's most important accounts.
Tzannou started her aviation career with Virgin Atlantic Airlines before moving on to Axon Airlines, where she soon became cabin chief. In 2004 she took the opportunity to work in the commercial department of a Greek brokerage company, Κ&Κ Aviation Services, working on chartering and management of aircraft for Greek and foreign companies. Her extensive experience lead to her specialising in ACMI (wet) lease with long and short-term chartering.
Zela Aviation owner Andreas Christodoulides comments: “We are delighted to announce the expansion of Zela Aviation with the launch of our Athens office. This was a logical step in our business growth strategy, bringing us closer to our Greek customers and partners as well as strengthening our presence in this region. Also, we're excited to see Elena apply her industry experience to help grow the business, knowing that she will be a great addition to the Zela team.”
