DCAF at Dubai South meets IS-BAH standard
DC Aviation has been passing audits with aplomb of late; last month its charter operation in Stuttgart met the requirements for IS-BAO, and now its Dubai FBO has been verified for IS-BAH by IBAC.
DC Aviation Al-Futtaim has received IS-BAH accreditation for its ground handling operations.

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a joint venture between Stuttgart-based DC Aviation and Dubai-based Al-Futtaim, has attained the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation for its FBO located at Dubai South.

IS-BAH is the international industry standard on safety management and risk mitigation for business aviation handlers and meets the forthcoming safety management system (SMS) requirements. The audit was conducted by an independent auditor from the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC).

DCAF successfully achieved compliance with the FBO's emergency and security procedures, airside operations, organisational structure, training protocols and operating procedures and ground support equipment.

Ground ops director Susan Bujtas says: “The successful completion of the audit was a result of months of hard work from all the teams involved and the continuous support of the management. The accreditation is further testament to our unwavering commitment to provide our customers with globally benchmarked services.”

Programme director Terry Yeomans adds: “I would like to congratulate the DC Aviation Al-Futtaim team for successfully completing the IS-BAH audit. The team have demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and meeting all the requirements.”
