DC Aviation completes 96 month major check
German maintenance provider DC Aviation has completed a full major check on a Challenger 850 at its Stuttgart service centre. The aircraft now complies with ADS-B Out well ahead of the January 2020 deadline.
Exterior work by DC Aviation on the Challenger 850 included a landing gear and wheel overhaul as well as painting.

DC Aviation's maintenance service centre, located at Stuttgart airport, has successfully completed a full 96-month major check on a Challenger 850. The comprehensive maintenance work included a full cabin refurbishment using choice wood, leather and carpets. The exterior work included a landing gear and wheel overhaul as well as new exterior painting. In addition, future mandates such as ADS-B Out modification and complex ADs such as TOSE/LWTAIS were successfully completed.

He continues: “With our leading industry partners like Honeywell, Gogo, Collins Aerospace and F/List, we can also offer customised solutions for these mandatory modifications in combination with any other scheduled maintenance or cabin and connectivity projects.”

DC Aviation offers line and base maintenance services from its dedicated 5,000 sqm hangar at Stuttgart airport and its 5,700 sqm approved maintenance facilities at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai for customers operating the Airbus 320 family, Global series, Challenger 605/604/300/350, Learjet 60/45/40, Falcon 7X/900, Gulfstream G550/450, Citation XLS+ and other aircraft types.

DC Aviation maintains a parts inventory with a value of more than 6.5 million Euros, specialised tools, testing equipment and a maintenance logistics centre. It is also an EASA approved CAMO for a wide range of business aircraft types.
