This November marks a milestone as Jet Aviation celebrates the 10th anniversary of its FBO and MRO operations at Vienna International airport in Austria. Since opening in 2014, Jet Aviation Vienna has played a key role in providing its customers with access to both western and eastern Europe, all while expanding its presence in the region. Thanks to the dedication of the team, the company says that JVIE has become well-known for its commitment to safety and excellent customer service with a personal touch.

Situated at the Vienna General Aviation Terminal, Jet Aviation's FBO offers a comprehensive range of services, including a VIP lounge and flight planning facilities. “From passenger, crew and aircraft handling to coordination of refuelling and deicing, our team goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless and personal experience for our customers,” says Mark Vass, senior manager FBO. The team also offers SAF to customers through Jet Aviation's Book & Claim programme.

At a celebratory lunch to mark the anniversary, it was noted that most of the participating employees have been part of Jet Aviation Vienna since day one and have been committed to providing excellent service for our customers ever since.

“We constantly expand our services to meet the evolving demand of our customers. No matter if it's line or base maintenance, pre-purchase inspections or after market services, our dedicated team is on top of it. Their commitment to safety and quality is just outstanding. We made it through challenging times, from a small, mainly Cessna focused repair facility to a factory authorised service centre and reliable partner for Gulfstream models. I'm extremely proud of what we have achieved together over the past decade here in Vienna,” says Hakan Tin, general manager and senior director, site operations.

“As we reflect on the last 10 years, I am grateful to all our employees at Jet Aviation Vienna for their dedication and hard work. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this remarkable journey,” notes Vincent Rongier, SVP regional operations EMEA.

The Jet Aviation Vienna maintenance facility, housed in a 4,000 sqm hangar, provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a wide range of aircraft types. As a Gulfstream factory authorised service centre, the Vienna MRO constantly expands its Gulfstream capabilities, including G450, G500, G550, G600 and G650. Other offerings include off-site AOG services as well as hanger and parking space for our customers.
